What do Education Support offer?
Education Support offers a confidential, specialist support service for teachers and other members of staff at your school. Staff are able to access a range of advice services, including counselling using the Employee Assistance Programme.
What is the Employee Assistance Programme?
School staff can access:
Data on usage and help with promotion
They can provide an annual review to schools which details anonymised usage of the service. This can be a helpful tool to share the impact this service has had on staff with, for example Governors. They can also help you promote it so staff know that it’s there.
Protecting the wellbeing of your teachers
‘We all need a bit of extra help sometimes and I think it reflects really well on us as a school that we offer it, and that people are comfortable taking up that offer. It means they aren’t afraid to use it and trust the support available.’

Education Support also offers:
Education Support has been supporting the education sector for over 145 years and understand the challenges you face!
Education Support has the HeadteacherChat Stamp of Approval
“We think that the services provided by Education Support are invaluable. Now more than ever, schools are working under intense pressures, so to know that there is support out there for staff is fantastic. Together, we can all help to improve the mental health and wellbeing of education staff which is long overdue. We all believe that this will have a positive impact on the education system as a whole. Happier staff make more effective staff, who in turn improve the quality of education and outcomes for pupils.”
“Everyone has times in their life when they need help and support, and the service provides just that for a range of topics, including financial and legal issues. It’s reassuring to know that our colleagues are supported in this way, and we would recommend that all schools look into this type of support for their staff. We highly recommend Education Support’s Employee Assistance Programme, and have already signposted lots of colleagues to their website!”
