As we are approved by NASUWT and other unions, we provide members with a wide range of regulated financial services. This includes financial advice on investments, mortgages, the Teachers’ Pension Scheme and more. What does it enable you to do?
For many people working in education, the prospect of dealing with their pension is often daunting or possibly quite low on the priority list, particularly for teachers in the early stages of their career. However, by dedicating just a little time and effort, Wesleyan Financial Services can answer many questions, help you plan and provide options for your future.
Having supported professionals for over 180 years, Wesleyan Financial Services have a wealth of experience and knowledge on which to draw. Dedicated Specialist Financial Advisers can speak with individual members of staff, but many organisations find that Wesleyan’s staff seminar provides the most effective and inclusive way of informing staff. This is an interactive session with delegates encouraged to ask questions and there is no cost to the school. It can be delivered face to face or via a webinar.
Topics covered include:
Following the seminar, individuals can schedule a personal appointment with a Specialist Financial Adviser to discuss their own circumstances and ask specific questions. Again, these appointments are free of charge. Topics that can be covered include investments, mortgages and income protection plans but the Teachers’ Pension Scheme is by far the most common.
