The Service
HeadteacherChat Ltd provides access to Blogs, Resources, Information, and an Edu-Network which school and academy leaders are able to access. HeadteacherChat Ltd may also provide links to events and webinars, and these will have separate terms and conditions. We endeavour to provide you with information about suppliers of services to schools. We acquire suppliers but do not offer advice or make recommendations. HeadteacherChat Ltd is not responsible for any products or services provided or supplied by the companies listed on our site.

We are proud of the service that we provide for those who work in schools and academies. Our aims are to support school staff as much as possible by providing information, resources, training and more.
Where possible, we endeavour to help others by signposting you to people who could help. However, HeadteacherChat Ltd does not take any responsibility for any advice or support given as a result.

Downloadable resources:
HeadteacherChat Ltd provides schools with access to information and resources which can be downloaded from our website and communication platforms such as social media. Each resource can be used in your establishment but is not for resale. If you have purchased a downloadable PDF resource, we are unable to offer a refund for you due to the nature of the product, and the fact that you can’t return it.

Published hardback resources
HeadteacherChat Ltd also provides customers with physical items, such as notebooks and planners,  which can be purchased from our website. These can be used by your establishment but are not for resale. If you are not happy with the product that you have purchased from us, we will provide you with a refund, if it is within 14 days.

Blogs, newsletters, quotes and information documents are shared on our website, and on social media, CPD sessions and other avenues, purely for information purposes and to help school leaders. They are not to be copied, re-sold, or shared with others. HeadteacherChat Ltd is not responsible for keeping up to date with information from the DFE, Government, Ofsted, Public Health England and other important public bodies.
HeadteacherChat Ltd ask Schools/Academies to take responsibility for keeping up to date with that information themselves and edit the resources accordingly.

Access to the Edu-Network
We provide schools with information about products and services from external companies known as the HeadteacherChat Edu-Network. The Edu-Network has been created to offer schools and academies wit information about products and services.HeadteacherChat Ltd is not liable or responsible for any of the services or products that you receive from the companies that you have contacted as a result of information we have provided, either on social media, webinars, Twitter Spaces, podcasts,  the website, or any other methods of sharing information.
We do not take responsibility for the information on our website provided by our companies and suppliers, nor do we take responsibility for the information provided by our companies and suppliers for any social media campaigns or live sessions such as Twitter Spaces, and webinars, or any other method of communication.  It is important that you read the terms and conditions on the third-party websites, to check that you understand and agree with them.
HeadteacherChat Ltd is not responsible for any services provided by the companies advertised on this website. The Edu-Network on the HeadteacherChat Ltd website is a marketing information tool and should be used as such.

Edu-Network
By selecting a price plan, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. The Edu-Network has been created to help you inform schools about your products and services.  We will provide you with multiple platforms on which to advertise your products and or services. You are responsible for providing information honestly, completely and to the best of your knowledge. We expect you to provide a professional and excellent service to schools in a timely manner.  We reserve the right to remove your company if we feel that you are demonstrating any unprofessional or illegal behaviour. Once you are a member of our Edu-Network, we expect you to conduct your services to schools in a professional, and considerate way, following all safeguarding policies as and where appropriate and alongside all other important statutory tasks such as by following the GDPR principles. It is your responsibility to inform us if your company details and contact details change so that we can update our website accordingly. There will be a £25 administration fee to cover the costs of making any changes once you have registered.

We have taken every step to ensure the information contained and displayed on our website is accurate and up-to-date as much as is reasonably possible. However, we can accept no liability for any errors or omissions. We reserve the right to add, amend or delete content from the website at any time. We pride ourselves in our service to you. We will contact you to ensure that you are still happy with the service we provide, to check your details, or to invite you to take part in any events and social media campaigns etc. HeadteacherChat Ltd cannot guarantee where your business will be placed on our database.

By purchasing one of our plans, you are agreeing to have your company's details on our website for a selected period of time. Once you have agreed to our terms and conditions, and you have read and approved of the information we have gathered to register your company, we will upload your Company details to the site as per your plan. In social media campaigns by purchasing a social media bundle, you are agreeing to HeadteacherChat Ltd using your company information (including your branding assets) on our Social Media Platforms, such as (but not limited to) Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. When your company joins the site, we will welcome you by placing a welcome message across all our social media platforms. If you do not wish us to do this, please email us at admin@headteacherchat.com  Any further campaigns will be subject to the plan you have purchased and you could use these posts to showcase a product or a service. When you have signed up for the pricing plan you have chosen, we will contact you and ask you what you would like us to post on social media and when. If we do not hear from you, we will not be able to post on your behalf. Instead, we will ‘bank’ your social media post for when you are ready.

HeadteacherChat Ltd is not liable for information shared on Social Media or any other communication platform about your company. It is your responsibility to let us know if your company details change or any other information changes. 

Product Reviews:
Once you are a member, you can either purchase a Product Review separately or as part of your membership. A product review involves us asking you questions about your product or service, via an online call which will also include a product demonstration. Once we have received that information, and other information as appropriate, we will write a review of your product or service. You are then invited to check that you are happy with the review before we publish it. Once we have your go-ahead to publish your review, we will then upload it to our website and share it across all of our methods of communication. We will not publish your review until we have your permission to do so. Once your review has been published, you may also share this across all of your communication methods and social media platforms as appropriate.

Live events such as Twitter Spaces, Conferences etc
HeadteacherChat Ltd may invite you (or you may request) to take part in a Twitter Spaces, Podcast, Webinar, conference or similar event.
We endeavour to gain as much information about what you plan to discuss prior to the event in order to ensure that it is of a high standard for our customers. HeadteacherChat Ltd is not responsible for any information shared during these events which are later deemed to be unsuitable.
Due to the fact that we work closely with schools, we expect our Network members to act in a professional manner, and to respect the normal boundaries set within school policies, particularly with regard to safeguarding, DBS checks, GDPR and other important documents.

Recorded marketing material
As part of a series of events such as Twitter Spaces, webinars etc, we gain some recorded material such as quotes, videos, images etc and in partnership with our Network customers. We may ask you if we can use the information for our own marketing purposes. Likewise, please ask if you would like to use similar material produced by HeadteacherChat Ltd for your marketing purposes. 

The use of our Logo
Once you are a member of our Edu-Network, we will send you a copy of our logo for you to use on your social media platforms, email signatures, websites etc.
The HeadteacherChat logo remains the property of HeadteacherChat Ltd, and can only be used with our permission to do so. 

Termination and Cancellation
HeadteacherChat Ltd’s Edu-Network is subject to the following contracts, depending on the plan you have chosen. Once your plan comes to an end, your plan will automatically renew if you do not cancel it. Please get in touch if you have any questions. admin@headteacherchat.com. If you change your mind and no longer wish to have your company's details advertised on our site, we will be happy to send you a refund if you notify us within 14 days. If you wish to remove your company's details from the website after the 14-day introductory period, we will be happy to remove your details from the site, but we will not be able to offer you a refund.

Our liability  
We are not responsible to you for:
- any losses you suffer to the extent that they have been caused by errors in prices supplied by the Supplier/Company
- or any losses you suffer because you cannot use our Company Website at any time;
- or any losses you suffer through connecting to any linked third-party websites or any statements, information, content, products or services that are published on, or may be accessible from, any linked third-party website and we do not guarantee that they are free from viruses or anything else that could be infectious or destructive;
- or if our website is unavailable at any time or for any period;
- or any errors or omissions in our website;
- or any losses you may suffer by relying on any commentary or postings on our website;
- or any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our website or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it;

This email will confirm you have used our website and that we will contact you to gather further information. We will also send you a reminder when your renewal is due after 12 months of registering.
